Funding
is always a concern for voluntary sector charities and DVIP, despite the
recognition the project receives, has to work hard each year to maintain
current service provision. In the year 2000/01 DVIP needs to find funding
to support the service provision in the London project.
The main funding for DVIP London comes from a range of sources:
- London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham
- National Lottery Charities Board
- The Staples Trust
- Single Regeneration Bid - for working in the Paddington area of London
- Individual donations including funding from Zurich Financial Services
for the website launch
- Income generation from training and consultancy work.
DVIP is also supported by AS Biss and co. who give us invaluable support and advice regarding our external affairs and campaigning work.

Volunteering
People volunteer at DVIP in a range of ways. The DVIP the Board of Trustees is made up of people who voluntarily offer their energy and skills to oversee the organisation. Volunteers are involved in service delivery and DVIP offers professional support and training to enable people to contribute effectively. DVIP is particularly interested in people who would like to get involved in fund raising so that we can continue to help people live free from abuse.
