DViP - domestic violence intervention project
DVIP is a groundbreaking voluntary sector project and registered charity which was set up in 1991. DVIP's main aim is to increase the safety of women and children who experience domestic violence by providing a range of diverse services

Challenging Men
We run a Violence Prevention Programme for men who are abusive to their partners or ex-partners.

Supporting Women
We run a Women's Support Service for women whose partners attend the Violence Prevention Programme and for all women who live in our local area (Hammersmith and Fulham).

Supporting Children
Stephen's place, a purpose built child friendly centre provides a range of work with children who have been exposed to violence including supervised contact, assessed contact and direct therapeutic intervention.

Al Aman
Al-aman is DVIP’s Arabic speaking communities outreach project and provides client services and community outreach work in Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster. All services and materials are available in Arabic.

Working In Partnership
We are involved in several inter-agency projects, working in partnership with a wide range of organisations on a local and national level as part of our commitment to finding community based solutions to domestic violence.

Training Professionals
We have a training programme for professionals which aims to promote best practice among those who work with issues of domestic violence in both statutory and voluntary sector agencies.

Influencing Policy and Campaigning for Change
We also work to influence policy at all levels - across local and national government and within statutory bodies such as the Police, Probation and Social Services. All of our campaigning work focuses on making changes that will increase the safety of women and children who experience domestic violence.
